The sky's the limit!

I’m incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to come on your show and share the story behind Saqer's Paradox, Pogg. A well-edited, thoughtful piece—Truly capturing the spirit of the project!

I really want to play your game, but there's some sort of error copying files when I try to unzip it. I've tried two computers. Please let me know as I would love to support.

Hi Outgrabe! Thanks for getting in touch. Could you share what the message is? Is the error number 0x80004005? If so, you might be extracting it incorrectly on windows. Instead of "Extract All" option from windows' built in list of options, try 7-zip extraction on the zip file. Here is the error message that you might be getting. Please let me know if this solves the problem. I await your respone :)

That did it!  Thanks!

NPC really is the star of the show.  More of him please!  Seriously, this sort of comedic dialogue appeals to me.  There's a serious element to the game, but then it is broken up by moments of levity and it works.

In a sea of RPG Maker clones that cobble together free assets, Saqer's Paradox has its own style and everything is clearly made by hand.  You can just tell.  It all blends well together and has its own harmony.  It really looks like its own game vision and world.

The lighting and shadow is really unique as it forces my eye to scan beyond the horizon, giving the game an extra explorative element.  I can already start to imagine settings like jungle or forest to get lost in!

The combat is a little bit on the button-mashing side of things and I found that I was repeatedly hitting the attack button, but I'd imagine there will be more varied commands beyond this demo.  It would have been nice to get a sneak peek into a township or some story, but for what it is this is a really strong tech demo and I'll be paying close attention to your progress!

Thank you so much for taking the time to try out Saqer’s Paradox and share such thoughtful feedback, Outgrabe! it truly means a lot.

I'm thrilled the NPC and the mix of humor and seriousness resonated with you, and I’m especially grateful you noticed the handcrafted nature of the game.

This project is a solo effort—no team, no funding, just me working passionately for just under seven months.

So far, every cost—software licenses, development tools, and assets—has come out of my own pocket. There are no investors or external support. I chose to build something playable instead of just showing concept art, because I wouldn’t back something unless I saw real effort—and I don’t expect anyone else to either.

If you’d like to support the journey, donations are deeply appreciated—but honestly, just sharing the demo and spreading the word means just as much. Helping this game reach others who might care is a huge part of keeping it going.

I became a core backer on your Patreon page. I believe in this project and I look forward to seeing it evolve!

Oh, it dawned on me that I didn't mention the music in my previous feedback. The music is quite the weird choice, but I love it! Not often that you hear an almost surf-rocky acapella music whilst traversing a medieval dungeon! Tell me more about the game's musical direction. I'm intrigued.

I saw that, Outgrabe... and I’ve gotta be honest — it truly brightened my day.

You might not even realize it, but your contribution help pull Saqer’s Paradox one step closer to becoming real.

And that means more to me than I can fully put into words. You're not just cheering from the sidelines — you're helping build this thing. You matter.

Now about the acapella (I might've stretched that a bit long) — I totally get what you mean. There’s something magical about hearing a human voice stripped down, no instruments, just pure soul layered together.

It blows my mind what acapella composers can do when they really care about what they’re making — when every harmony is deliberate, every note a little heartbeat. Check this guy out — he’s where a lot of the inspiration came from (I pinky-promise it's not a virus).

And speaking of amazing humans, shoutout to my good friend Jacob Hopkins, who composed the full acapella soundtrack for the game. I think I speak for all of us when I say: the man nailed it.

I know that for a lot of folks, the word “acapella” brings to mind... well... chaos. That awkward high school group that sounded like a barbershop quartet falling down the stairs. With Saqer’s Paradox, I promise you it will NEVER be like that. Not even close.

Every track will be built with care, intention, and an obsessive attention to quality — something you’ll actually want to listen to. Maybe even on loop.

Because honestly? Life already throws enough noise and nonsense at us.

When you play this game, you deserve something beautiful.

Something comforting.

Something that makes you feel like you’ve entered a world that gets you.

Thanks again, Outgrabe. I know it's cliche to say this but I really appreciate your support. Your contribution won't be taken lightly.
